Top-Ten Tuesdays ~ Beauty Tips

To keep in sync with last week's post, today I am sharing with you my Top 10 Beauty Tips of all time. Enjoy! 

10. Exercise! Even if it is just walking from the bus stage to school/work... give your body work to do otherwise it will slack more than you!

9. Dress according to your shape... I think this says it all.

8. Smile and laugh more often! Not only will this make you feel better, but laughing is proved to boost the immune system as well.

 7. Treat your locks to a hair mask every once in a while to keep them looking shiny and healthy. Hair, really is a woman's pride!

6. Apply perfume on your pulse points (wrists, decollete, behind the knees and behind the ears) to make sure the scent lasts all day!

5. After a long, hard-wearing day, kick off your shoes and roll your footsies over a cold can of soda/beer and massage in some foot lotion. To top it all off, slip on a pair of bed socks and by morning your feet will be baby-soft! 

4. When applying nail polish, make sure you leave a hair-line gap near the cuticle as in this way, the nails have some space from where to get rid of toxins and therefore prevent them from yellowing (staining).  Nonetheless, always apply a base coat (again, leaving a hair-line gap).

3. Exfoliate at least twice a week.  This will get rid of cellular debris and dry skin and the circular massaging movements also aid the body to get rid of toxins.  Use a good body lotion afterwards to replenish moisture (do the body lotion part everyday after you shower for optimal results).

2. Get your beauty sleep! It is not called a beauty sleep for nothing you know... getting at least 8 hours of sleep per night guarantees your body time to regenerate and repair itself from the day's hectic work. 

1. Drink plenty of water! Water is the best cosmetic product around and it is the answer to most problems, from dry skin to dark circles and everything else in between.
