One of this year's highly anticipated autumnal collections is the Pupa Soft & Wild Limited Edition Collection, which revolves around a romantic interpretation of the timeless animal print trend, with touches of sophisticated pinks whilst maintaining some of the traditional autumn hues in a collection that is very reminiscent of 1950's style and elegance.
The colour palette across this whole collection executes to perfection the distinction between romantic and wild. Let's have a look at all the products in the collection available locally and then we shall move on to the actual review featuring some of the products.
Vamp! Wet & Dry Eyeshadow - €11.70 each
I'M Pure Colour Lipstick - €12.45 each
Lasting Color Gel - €6.00 each
Animal Print Effect Top Coat - €6.00
If I had to be completely honest with you guys, this collection is seriously up my alley - all of it! The attention to detail in the packaging is very palpable with the actual lipstick, eyeliner and blush boxes having a velvet texture to the animal print on them. And the colours? You can never go wrong with such girly hues! They also matched the lipstick colours to the nail colours to help you nail one of the latest beauty trends of matching your lips to your manicure!
I was sent two Vamp! Wet & Dry Eyeshadows and an I'M Lipstick from the collection and I have also bought the Animal Print Top Coat simply because I could not pass it up! The products I received are in tester format so I will show you other products from Pupa Milano too so you get an idea of what the actual packaging looks like.
First up I have the Vamp! Wet & Dry Eyeshadows in the shades 004 Golden Rose and 005 Glam Pink. These being baked eyeshadows, they can be used dry for a luminous colour and wet for a more intense look. Either way they are very pigmented. The packaging is exactly the same as the ones in the brand's permanent collection but since these are part of a limited edition collection, the outer rim is of a golden colour.
Going back to the eyeshadows themselves, shade 004 is a pearly, light sort of mauve-y pink while shade 005 is more of a pearly Barbie pink. Both shades have a frosty shimmer finish. They feel very silky and blend really well. They also lasted extremely well and fall-out is not that big an issue. Did I mention these eyeshadows have a soft vanilla scent to them? Well, they do and with the pretty pink hues, it's hard not to re-imagine them as cute little cake pops! My favourite out of the two is 004 because it is a more versatile shade.

Next I have the I'M Lipstick in shade 001 Soft Rose Nude, a peachy-brown nude that will look good on most skin tones. Like past I'M lipsticks I have tried, this one has a very nice, creamy texture that glides easily on the lips, giving you colour, shine and comfortable wear for all of three hours approximately. The packaging for the I'M liptsicks in this collection is similar to one of last year's collection but it's more of a yellow gold casing.
The last product I want to show you from this collection is the Animal Print Top Coat. This is a very unique top coat and I have never seen anything like it. It is essentially a clear base with gold micro-glitter and black leopard spot-shaped maxi paillettes. This will definitely add some wow factor to your nails especially when wearing lighter colours! I managed to get a full 5 days of wear out of my manicure with this top coat. The leopard print paillettes can get a little hard to fish out but with a little bit of patience, you will have a look worthy of a little extra effort ;)
I think you should really hurry up and go grab a few items from this collection asap! For a list of places stocking the Soft & Wild Limited Edition, please visit the Pupa Milano in Malta Facebook page.
The Pupa Soft & Wild Animal Print Top Coat was purchased by me while the other featured products were sent to me as PR Samples.
